A launch campaign for Fontsmith's first flexible rounded typeface named after the legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
Solution
A range of creative assets that tell the story of the font and its 'radiant' personality. Online advertising, email marketing, web content, media releases and supporting graphics for press and social media.
The creative focused on FS Aldrin’s talent for conveying clarity and technical precision with warmth and humanity. Apollo 5 images, lunar mapping and scientific datasets were set in a bold and colourful lunar landscape. The story was further strengthened by the involvement of Buzz himself, who was happy to support the launch of the new typeface, even tweeting "Now I've got my own font!".
