Since 2001 the company has raised over £100,000 to support the San Bushmen of southern Africa. We’ve worked closely with the team to embed the social mission into the very heart of the brand.
But ‘doing good’ isn’t enough on its own to succeed in a competitive market, so we also strengthened the focus on the quality of the tea and their relationship with the growers. For a small producer going up against big multinationals, budgets are always going to be an issue, but we’re helping them to connect to consumers in more creative and inspiring ways, through advertising, sampling and sales promotions.
